Art Direction, Design, Illustration, Logo Design
In 2009 indie legends Spoon hired me to create a series of promotional posters, apparel graphics and identity pieces. The logo I created was used across multiple promotional and merchandising pieces throughout 2009 and 2010 in support of the Merge Records album Transference. Posters I designed won awards from Communication Arts, Society of Illustrators, and appeared in the books 1000 Indie Posters (Rockport Publishers, New York, NY, 2011), Rock Poster Art (Eyrolles, Paris, France, 2012) and the Chinese glossy magazine Fantasy Art (2010).

Photography by the legendary Autumn DeWilde. This glossy poster featuring my logo design was sold at shows and on the band's online store in 2010.
In tandem with my series of posters depicting femmes fatales doing what they do best, this design appeared on shirts promoting the Transference tour.
Limited edition poster offered at tour dates during the winter of 2010.
This was the initial piece I designed for Spoon that set the tone for the series of posters and merchandise that followed. This three-color limited edition screenprint was for sale at their New Year's Eve show on December 31, 2009. This would be the last show opener Jay Reatard would play before his untimely death in early 2010.
On the job.
You can be next.
Dinner is ruined.
